« Mes tableaux sont des expressions d’un langage de variables qui montrent les relations entre la matière, l’énergie, le mouvement et les forces. Les formes sont comme des instantanés saisissant les vibrations denses ou légères ... Entre brillance et matité, force des reliefs et aplats, couleurs facultatives et noirs créateurs, les rimes picturales s’expriment. L’utilisation constante du noir dans mes tableaux et gravures correspond à la volonté d’ôter le superficiel. Ma démarche artistique est dirigée vers l’universalité du signe pour susciter une rencontre introspective du spectateur.
Il s’agit de regarder librement le monde pour saisir les instants de vie. »
Née en 1966 à Nevers, Marielle Guégan vit et travaille à Paris. Après avoir étudier le dessin et l’architecture intérieure, elle se consacre en 1995 à la peinture, sa passion. Elle a étudié la gravure pendant 4 ans à l’atelier F. Denon, Ateliers Beaux-arts Ville de Paris.
" My paintings expresses a language of variables showing the relations between material, energy, movement and force. The shapes are instantaneous moments that capture vibrations that are either dense or weightless... Pictorial rhymes converse between glossy and matt, dynamism of flat tints and reliefs, optional colors and fundamental blacks. The constant use of black in my paintings and engravings corresponds to the will to remove the superficial. My artistic approach is directed towards the universality of symbols to arouse the spectator’s introspection.
It is about looking freely at the world to seize the moments of life. "
Born in Nevers in 1966, Marielle Guégan lives and works in Paris. After studying drawing and interior design, she decided in 1995 to dedicate herself to her true passion, painting. She also studied engraving for four years in the workshop of F. Denon , Fine arts workshops of Paris.
